The Bi-Quarterly Scientific-Research Journal of “Qur’an and Religious Enlightenment” is a publication with a scientific approach and the mission of developing knowledge and publishing the results of basic, applied and developmental researches for recognizing and responding diverse of misconceptions, based on the verses of the Holy Qur’an and the opinions of Qur’anic exegetes and experts of theological and interdisciplinary issues. It welcomes articles by the educated authors. The misconceptions against the Holy Qur’an have been raised by opponents, orientalists and evangelical Christians, in six general categories: misconceptions on the source of the Qur’an, the revelation of the Qur’an, the reference to the Qur’an, the understanding of the Qur’an, the text of the Qur’an, and the bringers of revelation. The Qur’an and Religious Enlightenment Journal hopes to be a safe place, aiming at defending the Qur'an as a revealed and unerring book as the Islamic scientific basis, as well as, dispelling the illusion of plurality of misconceptions. The scholarly articles of the authors in this journal are published by the administrative charge of Payam-e Noor University,
