Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI) with ISSN: ۲۶۷۶-۲۹۵۱ publishes research papers that analyze theoretical and practical advances in brain-computer interface (BCI) technology. Articles should be developed based on new and innovative research, where methods, analyzes and conclusions are strong and of the highest standard.

BCI measures brain activity and translates it into a way that can allow machines to compensate for lost or damaged brain function, provide complementary or enhanced function, or make lasting improvements to existing function. This journal demonstrates that BCI's field of research is highly multidisciplinary and seeks to integrate a wide range of perspectives from different disciplines in order to deepen the understanding of existing issues, challenges and solutions. Brain and computer interfaces will be considered by experts in the following areas:
Biomedical Engineering
Computer Science and Engineering
electrical engineering
Human Factors
Industrial and systems engineering
Machine learning
mechanical engineering
Neuroscience
Neurosurgery
Psychology
Rehabilitation Engineering
Brain and computer interfaces cover, but are not limited to, the following areas:
Development and evaluation of user-centric BCI engineered applications with an emphasis on analyzing aspects that are critical to system performance, in addition to directly evaluating its success.
A scientific study of patterns of brain activity that can be used to guide BCI programs or show that they can be used.
Develop and evaluate signal processing methods that extract signal properties, classify them, and otherwise translate brain signals into device commands.
New invasive and non-invasive methods for monitoring and obtaining brain signals.
Applications of BCI technology to understand perception, emotion, action and various aspects of human cognition and behavior.
Ethical and sociological implications of BCI applications
Human factors and human-computer interaction (HCI) in the design, development and evaluation of BCIs
Clinical trials and individual case studies of the experimental therapeutic application of BCIs.
Behavioral studies of the use of BCI in humans and animals
Studies of neurosurgery techniques related to BCIs.
Propose, review and analyze hardware standards, software and BCI protocols.
All submitted manuscripts will be subject to initial evaluation by the editors and, if appropriate, will be scrutinized by expert and anonymous judges. Submitting an article in this magazine is in English and the best articles submitted will be awarded precious prizes and will be published in the printed version of the magazine.
