Journal of gem and precious metals published by the Gemology Center of Shahid Beheshti University and is a quarterly international journal of precious metals and gemological related sciences, which covers geology, mineralogy, crystallography, geochemistry, petrology, mining, environmental geology, economic geology and historical aspects of gem and gemstones. Topics also include geographic sources, education, trade and fashion, imitations and synthetics, treatments, and identification techniques.
The journal publishes scientific articles, jetters, outlooks in gem materials, comments and replies, news items in the areas of gemological sciences, book reviews on the same, and memorials. This journal is available as an e-journal.
Manuscripts in precious metals and gemological related sciences, which covers geology, mineralogy, crystallography, geochemistry, mining, environmental geology, economic geology and historical aspects of gems and gemstones.
